Cape town it was

A country girl at heart, I am not usually a fan of big cities but when there are plenty of green places and designed in a way that makes me feel like I’m not in a city, I’m a fan. Cape Town luckily ticks all those boxes.

Downtown Cape Town is beautiful, and the harbor area is one of the nicest I’ve seen with amazing shopping centres. It doesn’t take a lot to understand why the most expensive real estate in Africa is here. Sometimes you have to listen to that inner voice when you love a place so much and can’t bear to leave. And ok, I’ll admit I’m lucky in that I had a pretty flexible schedule at the time it was holiday and i was able to do this, and also my family really likes adventures ๐Ÿ˜.

 Table Mountain

It’s no secret, I love mountains they are really cool and fun especially when climbing them. Table mountain on the other hand is having straight cliffs and a long flat summit, it didn’t take long to understand its name. We got to the top of the mountain with a cable car. It was really fun and scary because the mountain is very very high.

Dinner with family
For me, this was probably one of my favorite parts of our time in Cape Town.
Hosted dinners with my cousin and the rest of the peope are from cape town.  When you are visiting a place for only a few days, it’s often quite hard to find opportunities to get to know the locals and get a glimpse into what life is really like there.

We were kindly invited to the home of a local musician who not only treated us to an amazing traditional dinner with his wife, but also rocked out with us all evening to the most beautiful music.

You should definitely visit cape town!!
